I know, but I mean just adding that extra degree of control and freedom to just mess around more handedly. Just a small quality of life tweak which can make a difference. Especially with characters in specific forms/attires that you'd want to fight in without worrying about their health being very low. Also helps when you are using the current infinite health bars, you can't access the higher levels of characters due to their health bar being infinite.
But that's all my reasons! 💭👌

It's mainly an issue when going up against a CPU/COM opponent. It'd be less tedious to just have one Vegeta I know will blow himself up randomly than, him being the only one of a specific Vegeta (with SSJ1 & SSJ2) that I and some others look for.
After pressing the Dragon Ball in the title credits and seeing Shenron, I think a great addition would be the option to toggle infinite health or energy for either player during matches. For example, pressing ‘1’ or ‘2’ keys could activate or deactivate infinite health/energy for Player 1, while ‘3’ or ‘4’ would do the same for Player 2.
This feature would make matches more customizable and fun. Players could extend fights for as long as they like, experiment with fighting opponents who never run out of health without constantly having to go in and out of the versus menu. It would be especially useful for characters who unlock new transformations after losing health, so this way, once they transition to the next stage (Lv.3 or beyond), players could restore their health and enjoy a full, uninterrupted fight.
It’s a small quality of life change, but it would add a lot of replayability and creativity for both solo and couch play with friends. To keep things balanced, the feature could simply be disabled for online matches, or online play could be blocked when cheats are turned on.
Thank you for considering this idea, it’s a simple tweak, but one that could really enhance the fun and flexibility of versus mode.
Goku (Early Z) is one of the most enjoyable characters to play as, but there’s one small adjustment that could make him even better. Currently, when he transforms into Super Saiyan, he remains locked in that form. This differs from earlier versions of the game, where Goku could freely switch back to Base Form to Super Saiyan/ (Lv.3 to Lv.4) during the match. While this might seem like a minor detail, it can limit player choice as some players prefer using Kaio-Ken Goku or like the flexibility of switching between forms mid-fight. Being locked into Super Saiyan removes that option and can feel restrictive and inconvient. Allowing Goku to revert and cycle between forms again would not only improve convenience and variety!
Thank you for considering this idea!
Hi, I believe "Majin Vegeta" should be treated as a separate character and have a "Vegeta (Buu Saga)". There are a couple of important reasons for this distinction. First, it would add convenience and flexibility in versus mode. Players could then use "Vegeta (Buu Saga", with access to SSJ1 and SSJ2 transformations, without being locked into the Majin state for the entire match as soon as they transform, or more significant, the COM.
Second, one of his defining moves, Final Explosion, can also end matches abruptly in ways that aren’t always desirable, especially if a player simply wants to enjoy the fight rather than have it cut short, mixed in if they just wanted to fight normal Vegeta. By separating the two forms, fans could experience both: Vegeta’s standard progression through transformations and Majin Vegeta’s unique, high-risk style.
This change would improve gameplay variety while also staying true to the nature of the character's gameplay. And also, pretty much most Dragon Ball games have them as seperate characters anyway. I hope you consider this, thanks for reading
