I'd stick to 3, the DBS anime typically only used 3 shades and some people think that is too much, but I assume you are using the DBS anime as reference so I'd use the same number of shades as them, maybe copy the colours exactly to make it more authentic but your colours are also good so it's fine.

Yea i was original using dbs but after a while i decide to use the broly movie simpler shading type
Also the reason why i make my own colors is because when i copy colors straight from the images they start to look kind of distorted so i add colors to those until they look alright.

Im sorry i didnt make him playable but i am working on making the Master Ultra Instinct Playable and i will post it when i finish, just find that i can go into greater detail when i dont have to think about making 8 different forms.

I wasn't planing on posting this until i finished everything but i was struggling with the portrait and need some advice.

No estoy ''insultando'' tú trabajo para decir que es irrespetuoso, solamente hay DEMASIADO parecido entre ambos modelos de cabello y el mío se ha originado primero, llego a pensar que te has basado o ''copiado'' (no lo sé) y por eso estaba reclamando créditos.

I agree with Ashura, fighting because it is similar, is something that has no way of staying well, since the character is the same, Goku MUI's hair or appearance can be very similar to what you did in any sprite that someone make 🫤.

AshuraTk y Mr. Pacman, se equivocan amigos, ese no es el punto. Se trata de que ambos sprites (específicamente el cabello) son muy similares, aunque sean hechos del mismo personaje no tiene nada que ver ya que se trata de sprite y no de diseño.

Saw all of the new goku's and i was bored 🫤 so i updated mines (dont pay attention to ssj3 i hate that form and hate drawing it more, would have lefted it out but uk all forms)

A more extensive and much better work, but I feel that there are points where it can be improved, both in the pixels and in the colors, but hey, a very good work! 😁
