Increible

what is "Bandersnatch"?

A "Bandersnatch" is a fictional creature that Lewis Carrol created for the novel "Alice, Through the Looking Glass" in 1872. After two years, he again included this creature in a poem called "The Snark Hunt."

In none of these works clearly mentions how this crunch is; He describes her as a being with a long neck and a large jaw. In addition, he mentions that he is fierce and extremely fast.

After having created this term, other authors and creators of novels, video games and audiovisual fictions have used it.

For example, in 1984 "Bandersnatch" was the name of a video game for Spectrum that never saw the light. It was intended for the ZX Spectrum computer.

From 1987 to date, "Bandersnatch" is a name that is used many times in the Final Fantasy video game series. This name is given to several enemies in many installments of the game in the Japanese and English versions. Usually, apparently similarities are with wolves or lions. However, there is a version in which it appears as a huge bipedal reptile that vaguely resembles a tyrannosaurus.

In that same year, this creature is mentioned in the book "Sign of Chaos", part of "Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny. He describes it as a kind of segmented creature, with a side-by-side, slimy walk that emits a sound like that of a teapot.

In 2010, in the movie "Alice in Wonderland", "Bandersnatch" appears as a great white beast that looks similar to the mix of a bulldog, a jaguar and a bear. It has long fur, black spots, a long tail and multiple rows of sharp teeth.

In 2018, Netflix created the movie "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch", based on the history of the 1984 video that never hit the market. This tape the creature, unlike the other fictions, is more psychological than real
