In any case, should I just destroy ki disks when they collide with ki bombs (like the Spirit Bomb)?
Right now, Ki disks are always deflected when colliding with another ki attack. But this needs improvement. I need intel on how Ki disks should behave when colliding against:
Also, if a Ki disk is destroyed during the collision with another Ki attack, should it produce an explosion or not?
Thanks ❤
Suggestion by Kenneth of Facebook:
- Ki bomb should destroy Ki disk, yes.
- Basic Ki balls should be cut in half or simply destroyed by Ki disk.
- Ki wave should destroy Ki disk.
- Ki piercing should destroy Ki disk.
- Ki disk colliding with another should just cancel one another out.
- Ki disk should destroy any gun, laser, or missile (like a basic Ki ball).
- Tornado would be funny if it sent it back where it came from (if you can do that), but probably it should just destroy it.
I think they all should have explosions, except for lasers and guns/bullets — but these are just my suggestions. Do with them what you will.
I think I'm going with that.
The tornado thing is funny and should be simple to implement. I like that.
I agree with Kenneth with pretty much everything, the only thing I'm unsure about is Ki Waves vs Ki Disks, imo Ki Disks should go through Ki Waves the same way Ki Piercieng attacks do, or something like that.
I just checked the code, and this is going to be a mess. Because of all the recently added ki waves, such as Final Shine Attack, that don’t have a specific "Ki family", mostly due to the legacy code of how basic ki blasts and kamehas are handled…
I’ll work on that for another version. I’m not keen on breaking everything now just for adding new Ki disks collisions.
